Rustic American Flags

Display your pride with a heavy-duty, heirloom-quality symbol of honor. Each of our rustic wooden American flags, tactical charcoal flags, and public safety thin-line tribute pieces is individually constructed from choice lumber strips. We hand-scorch and deeply char each flag to draw out striking natural grain lines, finishing them with vibrant stains and precision-carved details designed to last a lifetime.
The Art of Hand-Scorched & Burnt Flags

My rustic wooden flags are a fierce tribute to heritage, service, and sacrifice. I build each flag right here in Scottsdale, Arizona, using individually select-cut timber strips. I use a high-heat torching method, deep-charring the background to raise the timber grain line before applying specialized stains.

This intensive hand-burning technique forces the dramatic natural rings of the wood to pop through the colors, creating a rugged, battle-worn aesthetic that cannot be mass-produced. Formerly shipping across 22 states under RusticAmericanFlags.com, these signature wooden statement pieces are still built with the exact same five-star quality and fair pricing direct from the maker.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are these flags suitable for outdoor hanging?

    • My standard flags are finished with a premium indoor lacquer that protects against UV fading. If you intend to hang your flag outdoors on a porch or storefront, please select our "Exterior Marine Grade" finish option at checkout to prevent weathering.

  • What are the thin-line colors available?

    • I offer a full lineup of public safety and military tributes, including the Thin Blue Line (Police/Law Enforcement), Thin Red Line (Firefighters), Thin Green Line (Military/Border Patrol), and multi-branch combo variants. I even have a full custom sports line as well.

  • Can I add a custom engraving or badge number to the flag?

    • Absolutely. I can deeply carve names, rank insignias, badge numbers, or custom quotes directly into the wooden stripes or the union star field.
